The insurance industry is one of the most important economic pillars and, after banking, the most important factor in advancing economic goals and security. This research aims to examine the insurance industry from the Constitutional Revolution to the end of the first Pahlavi dynasty. The present article aims to answer the question using a descriptive-analytical method: to what extent was the spread of insurance effective in creating a favorable economic situation and what was the people's trust and awareness of new economic institutions, including insurance? The research findings show that one of the factors affecting economic security, especially foreign trade, was the insurance industry. When foreign companies were operating in Iran, there was little awareness and trust in its benefits and these companies operated in line with their own interests; but when the Iranian Insurance Joint Stock Company was established during the reign of Reza Shah, trust in it gradually increased and insurance gradually became an influential industry in the Iranian economy.
